****A SHORT TRIP (04 nights / 05 days) OF THE DOOARS****
If you have only 05 days to visit Dooars. You can and make a short trip of the Dooars. You can start your trip from NJP (New Jalpaiguri Railway Station) / Bagdogra airport. From your starting point, you will see many cars, prepaid cab booth. You will go and talk with them for your trip. Otherwise, if you know any reliable tour organizer, you can book a car, hotel/resort in advance for your trip.
Ist Day of Your Trip:- The car would take you through the elephant corridor and dense parts of Baikunthpur Forest and cross River Teesta to halt at Gajoldoba Reservoir, where you would find migratory birds from Central Asia in winter. This reservoir watered by a barrage on River Teesta is a birdwatcher’s paradise and you can even take short boat trips to get close to the birds. Reach Lataguri / Murti by lunchtime.
(You can take Gorumara Forest jeep safari in the evening or the next day morning). If you will not take Gorumara Forest Jeep Safari in the evening, you can go to MEDLA Watchtower which is located at Kalipur near Ramsay on the eastern fringe of Gorumara National Park. There are unique Bullock cart driven forest safari available here. Overnight at Lataguri / Murti.
02nd day of your trip:- You can take Gorumara Forest jeep safari this morning if you have not taken jeep safari the previous day. After breakfast at the resort, leave for Samsing which is a small hill village and tourist spot in the Matiali, Malbazar subdivision of Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal situated at an elevation of 3000ft in the foothills in between Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling districts border. It is known for its beautiful landscape with green tea garden sceneries, hills and forests. On a clear day, the snow-clad mountains of Bhutan are also visible from this place. It lies 18 km from the Neora Valley National Park.

04th day of your trip:- Take a nature walk in the fringes of Neora Valley and enjoy a walk on the hanging bridge of Suntaleykhola. Leave samsing village and reach Jaldapara National park (Jaldapara National Park is a national park situated at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas in Alipurduar District of northern West Bengal and on the banks of the Torsa River. Today, it has the largest population of the Indian one-horned rhinoceros in the state, an animal threatened with extinction, and is a Habitat management area. The nearby Chilapata Forests is an elephant corridor between Jaldapara and Buxa Tiger Reserve nearby is the Gorumara National Park, known for its population of Indian rhinoceros.)via Nagrakata, You Can visit Totopara Tribal Village, South Khaerbari Animal rehabilitation centre. You can take Jaldapara Forest jeep safari in the evening or the next day morning. Overnight at Salkumar / Natunpara or Madarihat.

05th day of your trip:- You can take Buxa Tiger Reserve jeep safari this morning.
